Former SDSU equestrian coach indicted for using state funds for personal use

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley has announced a former SDSU Equestrian Coach has been indicted for using state resources for personal use.

According to a release, 38-year-old Kamerra Brown of Brookings was indicted Thursday January 8th by a Brookings county grand jury. The sentence carries a maximum of 10 years in prison if found guilty.

She is accused of using SDSU resources to pay vet bills for her horses and to board her personal horses for about a year. She is alleged to have used between $5,000 to $100,000 inappropriately.
