A former state employee who forged health inspection reports will not serve prison time and instead was given probation and a fine. According to Attorney General Marty Jackley, 55-year-old Renee Strong was sentenced Wednesday to two years in prison, both suspended, probation and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine. She pleaded guilty to forgery related charges in Hughes County. Court documents say the former Department of Public Safety employee submitted forged food inspection reports because she received money for each inspection she conducted.
