Former USD men’s standout Casey Kasperbauer named head coach at Upper Iowa

Former University of South Dakota star basketball player Casey Kasperbauer has been named the next head men’s basketball coach at the University of Upper Iowa. Upper Iowa is a Division II program who is part of the NSIC. Kasperbauer has spent the past seven seasons as an assistant coach at the University of South Dakota. During his playing days he scored 1,163 career points and is t he top free throw shooter in USD history at just over 90 percent.
