Free residential cleanup at Brown County Landfill begins next week

The Brown County spring free residential cleanup will begin next week at the Brown County Landfill. The cleanup runs April124th through May 2^nd. There will also be an extra drop off site April 25^th only at Jensen Rock and Sand Inc South 5^th Street 2 blocks south of the White House Inn in Aberdeen. Items which will be accepted include paint, trees, rubble, batteries, furniture, waste oil, electronics, appliances, scrap metal, propane tanks, grass and leaves and other miscellaneous waste. Up to four car or pickup tires will be accepted also. The Landfill is open Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. All loads must be covered and secured.
