Groton native Lane Tietz enters transfer portal

Groton High school alum and Dakota State University Freshman Lane Tietz has announced he has entered the transfer portal. Tietz just finished his freshman season with DSU in Madison and was named the North Star Athletic Association men’s basketball freshman of the year. He averaged 11.3 points, three assists and 2.8 rebounds per game.
