Sioux Falls Christian star basketball player Griffen Goodbary has decommitted from South Dakota State to follow former SDSU head coach Eric Henderson to Drake University. Goodbary made the announcement on his X account. Goodbary had given a verbal commitment to South Dakota State, but had yet to sign a national letter of intent. The 6’11 forward was named the South Dakota Gatorade High School Player of the Year for the second straight season after averaging 18 points and six rebounds for the Chargers. Current Jackrabbit starting point guard Owen Larson also announced he is transferring from SDSU to follow Henderson to Drake University.
