Judge orders Clark man accused of murdering mother to undergo mental health evaluation

A judge in the case regarding a Clark man accused of murdering and beheading his mother, can be evaluated by a a doctor regarding a plea of guilty but mentally ill or not guilty by reason of insanity. 36-year-old Bowen Fladland is accused of first-degree murder in the death of his 70-year-old mother Marlene Fladland on July 5^th 2025. Her body was found in the front yard of her Clark residence at the time of the crime. Fladland has pleaded not guilty regarding this case.
