Latest US Drought Monitor map released

According to the latest drought monitor map, most of Brown county is not experiencing drought conditions. The same cannot be said for the rest of South Dakota. Much of northeast and north central South Dakota is experiencing abnormally dry conditions. Further southeast is experiencing severe drought, with the Nebraska border experiencing extreme drought. The same can be said for the southwestern corner of the state which is experiencing extreme drought conditions.
