The National Weather Service’s Aberdeen Office will have its weather radio transmitter off air today until approximately 4:00 p.m. That is due to an update the office needs to perform to it’s Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System, according to a press release about the situation. Despite the need to go offline, no core services will be affected, but there was no 6:00 p.m. Test Wednesday May 7th.
