Northern State Men’s basketball is back on the court under first year head coach Matt Wilber. Wilber was hired this past offseason to replace Saul Philips who was let go following a 2-26 season and a 1-21 conference mark.
Wilber is the former head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell and a former assistant basketball coach under Sioux Falls native Nate Tibbits with the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA.
