South Dakota State and the University of South Dakota closed out the volleyball regular seasons last night both with victories at home. First SDSU defeated North Dakota. The final was 3-0. Scores went 25-018, 25-14 and 25-15. Second USD defeated North Dakota State 3-0. Scores went 25-20, 25-16 and 25-16. The Summit League Volleyball Conference tournament is now set. Both South Dakota schools have earned first round byes. SDSU has been given the top overall seed and will play the winner of North Dakota State vs. Denver. That game will be played Monday November 24th at 6:00 p.m. USD received the #2 overall seed and will play the winner of St. Thomas vs. Nebraska-Omaha. That game will be played Monday November 24th at 3:00 p.m. The games will be played in Brookings as SDSU is hosting the conference tournament this year.
