NSU MH Abby Brooks named NSIC defensive player of the week for third time this season

(NSUWolves.com) For the third time this season Abby Brooks earned NSIC Player of the Week honors, however grabbed her first Defensive POW award following a career weekend.
 
NSIC Defensive Player of the Week – #7 Abby Brooks (MH, 6-2, Gr., Madison, S.D. / Madison HS)
– Led the NSIC averaging 2.17 blocks per set against CSP and WSU
– Tallied 13 total blocks, including a weekend high nine against Winona State
– Broke the NSU career assisted blocks record against the Warriors, holding 343 in her career
– Added eight kills and one dig on the weekend
– Leads the NSIC in both total blocks (98) and blocks per set (1.20) this season
