One person dead following disturbance Friday in Aberdeen

One person is dead following a disturbance in the north part of town. According to the Aberdeen Police Department, the incident occurred Friday July 17th at approximately 5:15 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of North Lloyd street for a disturbance involving a firearm according to police. Several people safely exited the residence, while the individual believed to be arm remained in the building. Officer say they established a perimeter and attempted to make contact with the individual. Police say a Special Response Team used a drone to search the residents and found the individual dead. No further details were released.
