Police in Brandon South Dakota are investigating a body discovered within the city over the weekend. According to police, officers were approached by individuals who found a man lying on the sidewalk Saturday at approximately 11:15 a.m. The body was found in the 300 block of North Splitrock Blvd. Police contacted paramedics who could not find a pulse and confirmed the person had died. No foul play is expected, but the incident remains under investigation. Police did not release the identity of the person who died.
