President Donald Trump has appointed Division of Criminal Investigation Director Dan Satterlee to serve as the next US Marshal for South Dakota. Satterlee’s nomination will be referred to the Senate Judiciary committee for consideration. If approved from there it will go to the full senate for full confirmation. The US Marshals are law enforcement agents who serve the United States Marshal Services, the oldest federal law enforcement agency in the United States.
