Public hearing to take place regarding proposed dairy operation between Ipswich and Mina Lake

A public meeting has been announced regarding a 25,000 head dairy operation proposed to be located between Mina Lake and Ipswich. The meeting will be held Monday January 19^th at 7:00 p.m. At the Edmunds County 4-H Building at 515 Seventh Street in Ipswich. The meeting is being hosted by residents concerned about the dairy. Belle Dairy/Riverview LLP has submitted the proposal for the operation with the state department of Agriculture and Natural Resources. That permit is currently in the public comment section of the process through January 23^rd.
