Road closures and water off in parts of Aberdeen Thursday

Beginning at approximately 7am Thursday, July 16, 2026, the water will be off and a driving lane will be closed in the following area for fire hydrant replacement:

6^th Ave. SW East Bound Outside Lane closed from S. 8^th St. to S. 5^th St.

Water Off: 6^th Ave. SW from S. 7^th St. going east approximately 400 feet

The water will be off and the lane will be closed until approximately 5pm or until finished.  The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.  Motorists are advised to drive safely thru the work zone until the work is completed.
