Road closures and water to be shut off in parts of Aberdeen Wednesday

Beginning at approximately 10:00 pm Wednesday, June 24^th, 2026, Dahme Construction will have the water off in the following areas for utility work:

8^th Ave. NE from N. Roosevelt St. to Brown Co. 19

Brown Co. 19 from 8^th Ave. NE to 24^th Ave. NE to include Schipke Lane

West side of N. Roosevelt St. from 8^th Ave. NE to Ashwood Dr.

The water is scheduled to be off until approximately 4:00 am Thursday, June 25^th, or until finished.  The Public Works Department suggests that residents in the affected areas collect and store water for personal and restroom use.

Beginning at approximately 8am Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, the water will be off and the road will be closed in the following area for utility work:

Water Off: S. 9^th St. from 3^rd Ave. SW to 6^th Ave. SW

Road Closed: S. 9^th St. from 3^rd Ave. SW to 4^th Ave. SW to include the intersection of S. 9^th St. and 4^th Ave. SW

The water will be off and the road will be closed until approximately 5pm or until finished.  The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.
