Beginning at approximately 7 am Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, the following road will be closed to thru traffic & water will be off in the following area for utility work:
Road closed:
6th Ave. SE East Bound Outside Lane from S. Lamont St. to S. Centennial St.
Water off:
6th Ave. SE from S. Lafayette St. to S. Centennial St.
The road is scheduled to be closed & water will be off until approximately 5 pm or until finished. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed. The Public Works Department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.
