The South Dakota Board of Regents has approved a tuition increase for the 2026-27 school year. The board approved a 2.4 percent tuition adjustment meant to support technology investments and upgrade university security. Additionally, the board also approved a five percent tuition adjustment to the South Dakota School of Mines.
