A semi sliding off the a bridge west of Groton on Highway 12 Thursday caused a temporary shutdown of the eastbound lane. According to the Department of Public Safety, no one was injured in the incident but the bridge was closed for about three hours while crews worked to get the truck back on the road. The crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. Thursday three miles west of Groton. The driver of the semi was identified as a 56-year-old St. Cloud Minnesota man. Officials urge motorists to use precautions while traveling due to potential slick road conditions.
