Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate receives $500,000 in federal disaster relief

Representative Dusty Johnson has announced via a social media post the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Tribe will receive federal disaster relief for flooding that occurred on the reservation in June. Johnson thanked President Donald Trump for signing the Emergency Declaration this week, approving $500,000 worth of disaster relief. President Trump also posted on social media about the decision, he love the people of South Dakota and the money will be used to make America great again. Johnson also thanked the rest of South Dakota’s federal delegation, senators John Thune and Mike Rounds for their support in lobbying the president for this disaster aid.
