South Dakota Attorney General candidate Lance Russell endorses Toby Doeden in runoff election

South Dakota Republican Attorney General nominee Lance Russell has endorsed Toby Doeden for governor in the GOP gubernatorial runoff election. Russell made the announcement after locking down the Republican AG nomination this past weekend at the GOP convention in Rapid City. Russell mad the announcement via Facebook. In his post Russell says he served with incumbent Governor Larry Rhoden, Doeden’s opponent in the runoff, and accused him of weakening the criminal justice system in South Dakota. The GOP gubernatorial runoff election is Tuesday July 28^th. Early voting is already underway.
