The Minnesota Timberwolves traded down twice in the second round of the NBA draft which concluded last night in New York. The Wolves held the 31st overall pick, which was the first in the second round, but traded that to the Phoenix Suns which gave them the 36th overall pick and two future second round picks. The Wolves then traded the #36 pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for the 45th pick and cash consideration. With the 45th pick Minnesota selected center Rocco Zikarsky. Zikarsky is an Australian who stands 7’3 257lbs. He is 18 years old who last played for the Brisbane Bullets of the National Basketball League in Australia.
