Timberwolves trade down twice in second round of NBA draft, select Australian center Rocco Zikarsky 45th overall

The Minnesota Timberwolves traded down twice in the second round of the NBA draft which concluded last night in New York. The Wolves held the 31^st overall pick, which was the first in the second round, but traded that to the Phoenix Suns which gave them the 36^th overall pick and two future second round picks. The Wolves then traded the #36 pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for the 45^th pick and cash consideration. With the 45^th pick Minnesota selected center Rocco Zikarsky. Zikarsky is an Australian who stands 7’3 257lbs. He is 18 years old who last played for the Brisbane Bullets of the National Basketball League in Australia.
