The South Dakota Department of Transportation has announced the winners of its new snowplow naming contest. Each year the DOT encourages residents to submit names for new snow plows as a fun way to remind everyone about winter preparedness. Winning names include Rhinestone Plowboy for the Belle Fourche Area, Plowverine for the Mitchell area, Mount Sluch No More for the Rapid City Area and Iceorilla for the Aberdeen Area. The Aberdeen area winner was submitted by Trinity Lutheran Church’s 4th and 5th graders.
