A Watertown man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for the rape of a child which occurred at his home during a sleep over in 2022. According to KWAT in Watertown, 47-year-old Ted Hurkes was arrested on the charges on January 16 2023 and indicted by a grand jury on the 23rd of January. Hurkes was sentenced to serve time concurrently with a federal sentence for Production of Child Pornography, stemming from an incident on October 2, 2022, involving a partially unclothed minor.
