The Minnesota Twins have traded closer Jhoan Duran to the Philadelphia Phillies before the trade deadline. In return the Twins received prospects including catcher Eduardo Tait and right hander Mick Abel. Duran is 27 years old and has 16 saves this season along with a 2.01 era in 49 appearances. He also has 53 strike outs in 49 and 1/3rds innings and his four-seem fast ball hits over 100 miles per hour. As for the prospects Minnesota got, Tait is 18 years old batting .255 with 11 home runs and 57 RBIs across two minor leagues stops this year. Abel is 23 years old and and made his major league debut in May.
