South Dakota Game Fish and Parks reports multiple vehicles went through the ice on Bitter Lake in Day county over the weekend. Two vehicles went through the ice on the lake east of Webster. According to a post from Game Fish and Parks no one was injured during the incident. Game Fish and Parks wants to take this time to remind fishermen ice conditions can change rapidly. They recommend you do not travel on the ice at night, during poor visibility conditions, do not drive on lakes you are not familiar with and alert friends and family where you are going fishing.
