USD professor fired for comments regarding Charlie Kirk assassination reinstated for the time after receiving restraining order




A USD professor fired for making insensitive comments regarding the Charlie Kirk assassination has been ordered to return to the class room for the time being. A federal judge granted a restraining order request filed by USD art professor Michael Hook as he sues the South Dakota Board of Regents president and two members of the University of South Dakota faculty, claiming his first amendment rights were violated. Hook will return to work until at least October 8 when he will receive a preliminary injunction hearing.
