Vikings agree to tersm with CB Jeff Okudah and wide receiver Tim Jones

Jones was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent following the 2021 NFL Draft out of Southern Mississippi. After spending his rookie season on the team’s practice squad, Jones spent three seasons on the Jaguars active roster (2022-24), appearing in 51 games (three starts) and recording 17 receptions for 154 yards. He primarily saw time on special teams during his tenure in Jacksonville, logging six tackles and a fumble recovery.

Okudah, who was selected by the Detroit Lions in the first round (third overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, spent his first three seasons in the league with Detroit  (2020-22) before he was acquired via trade by the Atlanta Falcons in April of 2023. He spent the 2024 season with the Houston Texans. In 44 career games (31 starts), Okudah recorded 177 total tackles, including seven for loss, two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, 14 passes defensed and one forced fumble.
