The Minnesota Vikings have announced the passing of former Viking wide receiver Paul Flatley. He was 84 years old. Flatley played college football at Northwestern and was selected in both the NFL and AFL draft, but ultimately signed with the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL at the time. He spent four seasons with Minnesota and another two with the Atlanta Falcons. He was named the UP NFL-NFC Rookie of the Year in 1963 and named to the pro bowl in 1966.
