The Vikings are hosting a division rival to kick off the 2026 season.
The 2026 NFL schedule has been released, and Minnesota is slated to open at home against the Packers.
Minnesota and Green Bay have met to open eight previous seasons (1962, 1974, 1992, 1994, 2003, 2020 and 2022), but this will be just the third time the Packers visit the Twin Cities on Kickoff Weekend.
The Vikings are 1-1 in such games; Green Bay took the 43-34 victory at U.S. Bank Stadium in 2020, and Minnesota won 23-7 in 2022.
The Week 1 Border Battle is scheduled for 3:25 p.m. (CT) and will be broadcast on CBS.
