Minnesota Wild senior advisor Ray Shero has passed away at the age of 62. No cause of death was given. Shero is a longtime NHL executive, beginning his career as a sports agent before serving as GM of the New Jersey Devils and Pittsburgh Penguins. He was the GM of the Penguins when the team who its first Stanley Cup in the Sidney Crosby era in 20-09. After leaving Pittsburgh where he served as GM from 2006 to 2014, he took over the New Jersey Devils from 2015 to 2020.
