(NSUwolves.com) Following the last week of the volleyball regular season, Northern State University libero, Abby Schauer is named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week. Schauer and the Wolves land as the seven seed heading into the NSIC Conference Tournament starting Tuesday, November 18.
NSIC Defensive Player of the Week – #3 Abby Schauer (DS/L, 5-6, Sr., Sioux Falls, S.D. / Harrisburg HS)
– Led the NSIC averaging 6.13 digs per set in the final weekend of the regular season
– Tallied 49 total digs against Augustana and Wayne State
– Added two assists and two aces
– Recorded a weekend high 26 digs against the Wildcats, averaging 6.5 per set
