A South Dakota Hutterite Co-operative will not have to comply with state requirements all other licensed grain buyers do for the time being according to the Public Utilities Commission. The State PUC heard the case Tuesday of the Aberdeen based South Dakota Hutterian Cooperative who has been selling soybeans to AGP for years without a state license. The PUC granted the cooperative a 10 month exemption from receiving a Class A grain-buying license while it provides an independent review and audit financial statements.
