The Aberdeen Police department reports an arrest has been made following a pursuit with officers. According to police, the incident occurred in the afternoon hours of April 1st when officers received a call from a local hospital about a man experiencing a mental health crisis. Upon arrival officers claim a nude male suspect fled police and was pursued for several blocks. Police say the suspect refused orders from police and a taser was used by law enforcement but to little effect. Police say the suspect attempted to pick up a concrete parking stop, when a Brown County sheriff deputy deployed another taser which was effective. The suspect was taken into custody and is facing charges including obstruction of law enforcement, and resisting arrest.
