The Kingsbury Cattlemen’s Association has announced a hay drive has been organized to help neighbors to the south in Nebraska. Four wildfires, including the largest in Nebraska history have destroyed nearly a million acres of grasslands, leaving thousands of head of cattle with nothing to eat. 12 trucks were loaded up with approximately 300 round bales of hay bound for cattle in Nebraska according to a post from the Kingsbury Cattlemen’s Association facebook page.
