South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is currently working on a government accountability package he hopes the legislature will address this coming session. Jackley has now filed dozens of charges against different state employees, from different departments accused of corruption.
The bills would cover a host of issues, but one in particular Jackley has talked about, would require by law, department secretaries to report alleged corruption to the AG’s office. Jackley hopes by bringing these reforms forward voters see he is taking corruption seriously…
