A Chancellor South Dakota man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison on child pornography charges. According to the US Attorney for South Dakota’s office, 29-year-old Maquis Lavelle Jordan’s conviction stems from incidents between June 16 to June 24th 2024. Prosecutors say Jordan gave a runaway juvenile drugs and alcohol and forced her to perform sex acts while he recorded with his phone. Along with his 25 years federal prison sentence, he will also serve five years supervised release and must register as a sex offender for the next 25 years.
