Beginning at approximately 2pm Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, the Aberdeen Fire Department will begin flow-testing fire hydrants in the following area:
Between S. 5th St. & S. Washington St.
From
The Railroad Tracks going S. to the City Limits
The fire department will be opening hydrants and residents will experience some water pressure changes, and in some instances the water will be disturbed to the point of discoloring or appearing rusty. The project will continue until all hydrants in this area have been tested. Any questions or concerns can be reported to the Public Works Department at 605-626-7010.
