Former Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise is one of five players selected to be enshrined this year in the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. The others include Joe Pavelski, Scott Gomez, Tara Mounsey and Bruce Bennett. The five will be honored with an induction ceremony in St. Paul Minnesota on December 10th. A Minneapolis Minnesota native, Parise played college hockey at the University of North Dakota and was selected 17th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2003 NHL draft. He signed with his hometown Minnesota Wild in 2012 and played eight seasons for Minnesota. He played 1,254 games NHL games, scored 434 goals, 455 assists and 889 points. He also helped team USA to an Olympic Silver Medal at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
