Groton man dies from injuries sustained October 29th in accident west of Webster

A Groton man died Sunday November 2^nd due to injuries he suffered in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday October 29^th. According to the Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred approximately five miles west of Webster on US Highway 12. The unidentified male driver was in a Toyota Rav 4 when he entered the south ditch and struck a power line. The driver was taken to an Aberdeen hospital with serous life-threatening injuries. He ultimately passed away four days later. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
