The South Dakota Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s help in a hit and run incident last week that left a person dead near Humboldt, SD. According to the Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred on January 3rd at 2:13 a.m. When the victim identified as 64-year-old Patricia Dianne Archambeau of Mitchell was eastbound on I-90. She attempted to pull off to the side of the road. At the same time an eastbound semi pulling a trailer struck her vehicle and continued to drive east. Authorities are asking the public for video, pictures or any information from 2:13 a.m. To about 3:00 a.m. Along I-90 and I-29. According to police, the semi is a red freightliner Cascadia semi missing the passenger-side headlight.
