Three independent candidates seeking a seat in the United States senate from great plains states have announced if elected they will not caucus with either the Democrats or Republicans in the US Senate.
The three include Seth Bodnar of Montana, Dan Osborn of Nebraska and Brian Bengs of South Dakota.
The three went on to criticize corporate influence in Washington D.C. and would support policies from both parties if they benefit the people in their states.
Bengs spoke about this strategy on meet the press earlier this month…
Bengs said these three independents are embracing the tradition of the American west…
Bengs’ opponent Republican Mike Rounds criticized Bengs’ announcement through his campaign spokesperson claiming their policies are consistent with those of Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.
