An inmate in the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield has passed away. According to the Department of Corrections 73-year-old Philip Campling died of natural causes after falling ill. He was transported to a local hospital on Saturday June 28th where he passed away. He was serving multiple sentences out of Yankton county for possession of child pornography.
