An inmate passed away in the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield South Dakota over the weekend. According to the state Department of Corrections, 44-year-old Shane Osterkamp died Friday November 14th in a comfort care setting in the prison. Osterkamp had been serving a sentence out of Hughes and Sully County at the time of this death.
