University of Kentucky head men’s basketball coach John Calipari is finalizing a five-year deal to take the same position at the University of Arkansas. Calipari is set to replace Razerbacks head coach Eric Musselman who has accepted the head coaching job at USC. Calipari has been under pressure in Kentucky after the Wildcats have failed to make it out of the first weekend of the NCAA tournament since 2019 including upsets the past two seasons to #15 Saint Peter’s and #14 Oakland.
