Northern State begins search for next president

The South Dakota Board of Regents has announced the search to find Northern State’s next president is now underway. The Board will now be accepting resumes until September 24^th of this year. Resume’s can be sent to Norhtern.edu/nsu-presidential-search. The next president sill oversee Northern’s 3,500 students on a 75 acre campus. The board hopes to begin semifinalists interviews in October with in person interviews scheduled for Nov. 5^th and 6^th. The new president is expected to take over in early 2026. They will replace Neil Schnoor who began serving as President at Northern in 2021, but left to take the chancellor position at the University of Nebraska Kearney.
