The South Dakota House Education Committee voted 9-6 Monday to kill a bill which would have made carrying a concealed weapon on South Dakota campuses easier. Currently, in order to legally carry a concealed weapon on South Dakota college campuses the person carrying must have an enhanced carry permit.
