Minnesota Timberwolves center Naz Reid has been named the NBA’s “Sixth Man of the Year.” The Sixth man is an unofficial title most teams give to the player who does not start the games but is usually the first one in off the bench. Reid is 24 years old and averaged career highs of 13.5 points and 5.2 rebounds this season to help the Timberwolves to a franchise best record 56-26. Reid becomes the third undrafted player in NBA history to win the award.
